Waiting to strike

Gilbert Arenas is a classic basketball player. His fundamentals are very advanced…unfortunately he has been sidelined with injuries that has limited movie like attributes. The most marketable attributes amongst Gilbert the basketball player is his personality…WHERE HAS IT GONE!

Gilbert is one of those player that needs that niche to display his personality. His personality is what is believed to fuel his game “changing play” on the basketball court.

Most players need to express their personality on the basketball court. Most players use tatoos – Dennis Rodman would dye his hair. Artest with the illustrated haircuts.

Gilbert needs something – He has great potential – He tried with his blog before he got hurt but it did not sustain itself.

DON’T GIVE UP ARENAS!!!

scribble of KobeKobe Bryant is a very interesting subject. He is loved by many. But one may assume that he has the potential to be loved by twice as many. His play is so brilliant…especially now. Now he plays with experience as well as his talent. His talent matched with other talent…he can do that too. He is piecing together scenarios on offense that are absolutely astonishing. Makes a student of the game want to duplicate a magnificent Kobe transaction.

But Kobe is not loved by THAT many.  His personality can be described as, “Mr. Perfect.” Mr. Perfect (rest in peace) was a character played by a wrestler named, Curtis Michael Hennig. Like “Curt” Hennig, Kobe also had a father who came before him as a professional in his chosen field – and was a student of the game at an early age.

Kobe stays ahead of the class. And that may manifest in an obnoxious tone at times.

An exuberant Lebron

An exuberant Lebron

A beast. Some call him a freak of nature. Others may call may call him a man child. Any physical challenge in the game of basketball seems to come easy to him. His jumping ability is amazing. He’s the fastest 6’8″ 260+ athlete I think I’ve seen – and not to mention his unmatched strength.

He has rose and surpassed high expectations as a young prodigy of the game. His only challenge left in front of him is winning a NBA championship.

The lines that connect the shapes in his face describe a finely tuned molecule. One that has been carefully discovered by a genius chemist. LeBron is a very aware athlete. His eyes seem to cover a vast panorama.

But much like research chemist, Percy Julian, discovering the potential of certain molecules, The place where LeBron was discovered didn’t have a well known pedigree. Cleveland was the public school of the league – relying on state funds to supply just enough materials to get the kids by.

But the reason much admire LeBron (including me – in fact I am a huge fan of LeBron) is because he stuck by his “Percy Julian.” But there comes a time in a man’s life where he has to make the best decision for himself. And only he knows what is best.

His game most likely reflects that same personality – LeBron is a composition of many talents which allows him to shock and amaze. So Cleveland can only Witness.
